Trunk or Treat 2024

Trunk or Treat is October 30 at 5:30 PM till 7:30. We've partnered with First Baptist Church and it will be in their large parking lot.

If you are crossing Hwy 82 as a pedestrian - PLEASE be sure to cross at the Traffic Light

Construction on Hwy 82 requires us to move the location of the Trunk or Treat for 2024. We have partnered with First Baptist Church and will be utilizing the large parking lot for the "Trunk" location. We ask that all the Trunk Vendors that are distributing candy/treats turn onto NW Johnson Street, at DeKalb Pharmacy from Hwy 82. We will guide you into the parking lot with the "star" pictured below, so you can open your trunk and display your treats :)

First Baptist Church is also having their event and all or welcomed to participate in their Halloween Festival as well. The plan is to have the DeKalb Cheerleaders "Tunnel" as the usual last place to get your treats - then anyone who wants can cross over NW Fulton (will be closed to car traffic) to the Church festivities.

Parking for families and kids wanting to get the "treats" can park anywhere available - EXCEPT the Church Parking Lot.

DeKalb Trunk or Treat Update

We’ll have DK Chamber members helping direct set up from 4-5p on Wednesday 10/30 at FBC DK parking lot. Event begins at 5:30!! Parking will be the same as Oktoberfest, find a spot anywhere you can, EXCEPT the church parking lot is for Trunk vendors only. FBC will have tables set up directly in front of the church with Trick or Treat on Church St maps. Visit all 10 of their doors!! This is a joint event…which means double the candy!!! See yall there!!
