2025 Chamber Board Candidates for our DeKalb TX Chamber. We need 4 candidates for the 2025 to 2028 term. Please return the Ballot you've received in the mail to us so we have it by March 31.

Andrew Bryant

Andrew Bryant -  My name is Andrew Bryant. I have lived in this community for roughly 8 years now. Moving from Arkansas I feel so blessed to have found a community that truly helps and extends a hand to their fellow community members. I have owned "Drew's Gentlemen's Cuts" for 5 years now; and have now started a new business that I hope will greatly benefit the community by providing more job placement opportunities. During my youth I was an Eagle Scout and lead many community projects and outreach programs. I would love an opportunity to help my friendly and community here in Dekalb! 


Angela Son

Angela Son - I’ve been a resident of De Kalb Texas since 1991, and very proud mother to Payton Son and very blessed to have a wonder caring Daughter in Law Christian Son, and making wedding plans for next year to my fiancé’ Eric Perry.  I recently purchased the United Country Real Estate Franchise which I’m very excited and proud to implement and take real estate to the next level!

Brett Hutson

Brett Hutson - I was born and raised in De Kalb as were my parents, George and Donna Hutson, and my grandparents, Don and Bonnie Hodges and Jay and Jo Hutson. I graduated from De Kalb High School in 2012 and attended the University of Texas at Austin graduating in 2016. After college, I taught and coached at Pleasant Grove ISD in Texarkana for six years. During that time, I was a part of three state championship teams in multiple sports. I have since changed professions and now work for Texas Farm Bureau Insurance as an Agent. My wife Kristen and I were married in 2018, and we have a two-year-old daughter Shiloh. De Kalb is a special community because of the close-knit community and the character of many outstanding individuals. It will always be my home.


Kelly Kinney

Kelly Kinney - My name is Kelly Kinney, and I am proud to call DeKalb my lifelong home.  Married for 29 years, my wife, Kim, and I raised our family here and are blessed that our children, Klayton and his wife, Lauren, and Kaitlan and her husband, Ty, also call DeKalb home. After retiring from a 29-year career in education, including 10 years at DeKalb High School, I transitioned into my current role as a salesman for Nor-Tex Tractor.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to education and community service. I am a certified Hunter Education Instructor and was honored to receive the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service.

I am an active member of First Baptist Church DeKalb and the DeKalb FFA Alumni. Our family believes in the values that make small towns like ours special—faith, hard work, and community. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting and spending time outdoors, appreciating the beauty of the place we call home.

I love this community and would be honored to have the opportunity to give back and serve the people of DeKalb.


Lisa Clark

Lisa Clark - My name is Lisa Dawson Clark. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, business owner, and entrepreneur. I am currently a multi-line agent for Pierson & Fendley Insurance Agency formally DeKalb Insurance. Prior to this tenure, I was office manager for Guest and Associates Law Firm as well as property manager for the Reed V Professional Building and Event Center, Air BN-B, and Rental Properties. To this day, I continue to wear multiple hats. I am a licensed Paralegal, Insurance Agent and Adjuster, Notary Public, Travel Agent, Owner of Cuddles & Crates Pet Transportation, LLC, Classic Catering, and Lisa's Tux and Formals all of which are based out of DeKalb, TX. I am a lifelong member of The Order of the Eastern Star (OES) and Avery Methodist Church. Native to Avery, I am no stranger when it comes to contributing to the growth of DeKalb. I have worked hand in hand with the community business owners for years to help ensure the growth of the town and its' success by way of volunteering and sponsoring and hosting events. I am the face of my family's businesses; my daughter and grandchildren call DeKalb their home, all of which motivates me to have a special interest in the community. I believe my diversified background and professionalism as well as my experience in volunteering will be an asset to the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce.


Victoria Foil

Victoria Foil. My family and I have recently moved to DeKalb, TX to be close to my husband's family. We have fallen in love with this beautiful town. the people and are blessed to call DeKalb our home. I have been working in the sign industry since I was 14 years old helping PDQ Signs grow into the family business that it is today with three locations in DeKalb, Athens and Chandler, TX. My strong suit is that I have a love for people. My outgoing personality is one of the biggest assets to the company. With a positive attitude I always go above and beyond to deliver the best product and customer service. I am very business oriented with great leadership skills when it relates to making critical decisions. I am recognized as a highly Creative and Detailed-Oriented Print Specialist who continues to love the print industry. Immediately after settling down, we have found a sense of belonging and decided to establish our new sign shop in the beautiful town of DeKalb. This amazing community has welcomed our family and PDQ Signs with open arms. I am very passionate about the growth of this community and want to serve in several different platforms.
