Facebook Business Page Setup

Facebook Business Page Setup is all about getting your business page properly setup so the search engines can actually find you and list your business correctly. We see so many businesses that have a Facebook business page but it was never formatted to tell the search engines: Who you are? Where you are? or What you do?

It's a shame because you've worked so hard on your business trying to get your name out there, your products seen online and people excited about you and your business. One big problem - they can't find you online.

BTW, people will always find you if they know your exact business name. However, what about that person who has heard about you but is searching for you online - even on Facebook, and your business page doesn't display to their search results??

That's what this class is all about - Fixin' it!!!

This is a classic example of a Business Facebook Page that doesn't tell the search engines anything - it's just a number that Facebook assigned to a new page.

This number is not like a "standardized UPC Code" - it's just a Facebook ID Number!! When the Search Engines - like Google,  look at your site to determine who, what, where - it has no idea about your who, what where!! 

Open your Facebook Business page on your laptop/computer and see what the URL up in the Browser bar looks like? If it's like that big number or you have that number as part of your "name" - you need to sign up for class!! :)

BTW, don't update it until you've been to class - can only be changed once every 60 days!

Computer not necessary - no Internet. We'll have printed handout for you to take home and setup on your computer.
